To enhance the existing Sprint Power Vision(SM) Network, Sprint began launching Mobile Broadband services mid–2005. Via an aggressive implementation strategy, Mobile Broadband service is currently available in 466 major U.S. airports coast–to–coast.

Sprint now offers Mobile Broadband in more than 220 markets (cities with a population of 100K or more) – now covering more than 152 million people.

The nature of Sprint’s Mobile Broadband implementation is one of a “rolling coverage launch” in key areas, with certain portions of a market coming online sooner than others. For example, in Chicago the airport and the downtown corridor launched sooner than some suburban areas in the surrounding metroplex. As a Mobile Broadband customer, you have coverage on the current Sprint Power Vision(SM) Network and enjoy effortless upgrades and performance as the Sprint’s EV–DO coverage broadens.

Sprint began deploying our Mobile Broadband Network in 2005 and, as of January 2007, Sprint has the nation's largest Mobile Broadband network — covering more than 200 million people. Mobile Broadband Service is currently available in over 9,000 cities nationwide and over 870 airports coast-to-coast – where you can experience wireless data speeds averaging 400 to 700 Kbps with peak rates up to 2.0 Mbps.

In addition, Sprint offers a service called “Sprint PCS Data Link” for Wireless WAN, which utilizes an EV–DO enabled modem or embedded modules for private line or Frame Relay service substitution, service or like equivalent. Sprint also offers a telemetry solution for automated machine–to–machine connections. Sprint does prohibit the use of an “individual connection card” as a private line or Frame Relay service substitution, service or like equivalent.
